As an online student do think you get way too many assignments from school and it all seem so overwhelming that you wonder how you’ll get everything done? Here are a few efficient steps to follow and you will have your work done quickly.
- MAKE A LIST
This should be a list of everything that has to be done that evening after school. And I mean everything-from re-reading notes from this morning’s Biology class to quizzing yourself on French vocabulary.
- ESTIMATE THE TIME NEEDED FOR EACH ITEM ON YOUR LIST
You must be a bit brutal here. However long you think a task will take, try chip off 5 or 10 minutes. But, be realistic.
- GATHER ALL YOUR GEAR
Collect everything you need for your homework [your laptop, pencils]. Getting up for supplies takes you off course and makes it much harder to get back to your homework.
The constant bling and beeps from your device’s can make it impossible to focus on what you are working on. Release switch off or silence your phones and tablets or leave them in another room until it is time for you to take a break.
- TIME YOURSELF
Noting how much time something takes will help you estimate better and plan your next study session.
- STAY ON TASK
If you are checking facts online, you can easily get derailed. A better approach is to note what information you need to find online and do it all at once at the end of your study period.
- TAKE BREAKS
Take breaks between subjects or break up long stretches of studying. Active breaks are a great way to keep your energy up. Helpful! Keep reading my blogs, I’ll have more helpful guides for you.
